(my)ND Ecosystem

Y42 / Q1 2025

A piece of my mind.
“my(ND) is a personalized blockchain ecosystem unique to me, Coldie. A place for my creativity, personality, relationships and experiences to live forever.”

Disclaimer:
The my(ND) ecosystem and all associated art releases may contain information typically covered under HIPAA rights.
However, any such information disclosed within the my(ND) ecosystem has been explicitly waived by Coldie.

The First Step in the Journey

I am inviting you into a deeper connection with my creative process, art, and concepts. As tokens, the hemispheres will have many purposes, but at the root level, they are the access key by which collector’s interact with the (my)ND ecosystem.

Just like in real life, maintaining brain health is essential. How you care for your hemisphere(s) will influence your token’s “brain health.” Make wise choices—or don’t. For you, this is just a simulation. For me, it’s a journey to sustain life. This journey is one I share with great care. I encourage you to read my blog post, “A Peace of my(ND),” linked at the bottom of this site, to explore how this all came about.

Y42

Claimed Edition

 (Existing Collectors)

For the first year (Y42), existing holders of the following collections (insert list) will be rewarded for their support over the years and moving forward throughout the life of this ecosystem. Based on the significance of the collections they will be given the opportunity to claim their exclusive cerebral hemisphere which grants unique and personalized opportunities. Furthermore, all holders of Claimed Edition hemispheres will receive an exclusive genesis asset pack for Our Eyes. This release will be very rare and give these collectors opportunities to build portraits that will forever stand out and signify their status as early adopters and patrons of my work.

Minted Edition

(New Collectors)

The public mint is an opportunity to join the (my)ND ecosystem by minting a cerebral hemisphere which can be used to engage with upcoming drops, priority minting, collector-only access, and more. My art will be available for everyone to enjoy, so you don’t need to hold a hemisphere to collect my art, but it will come with benefits for those who choose to do so.

Our Eyes

I have been the architect of over 1,000 digital portraits focused around the concept of ‘decentralized collage’ and am now continuing where the Ascended and Assembled collections left off. ‘Our Eyes’ is an on-going interactive collaborative series expanding on my Decentral Eyes portrait series and is being released through the my(ND) Ecosystem.

As the series evolves so will the list of artist collaborators. Collectors will be able to assemble portrait assets by a variety of artists to construct their own personalized Our Eyes decentralized portrait, to express their tastes as a collector while symbolizing the family we continue to build here in crypto art.

These exclusive packs will only be released once, followup packs will be available for public minting. Many more details are to come…

Mint Your Intuition

Releases within the my(ND) ecosystem will offer unique collecting experiences to all who hold a Minted Edition hemisphere. A living list of opportunities that contain rotating claims will be available through the my(ND) website. Some will be cryptic and contain only a vague clue of what is to come, while others will be more forthcoming. Some releases will be exclusive to my(ND) while others will offer allow lists for future Coldie mints. All opportunities are FCFS so trust your intuition to make the best choice and balance of risk to reward as you spend precious allocations in return for these collecting opportunities.

Y42 releases are meant to reward early adopters. Collecting one or more of these editions will bring rewards to subsequent yearly my(ND) hemisphere releases. As an example: holders of a completed set of BOTH a “Y42 Claimed Edition” and “Y42 Minted Edition” will make the collector eligible to claim the following “Y43 Claimed Edition” hemisphere.

Many exciting details are to come as we get closer to launch day (Y42).

Several of these include, but are not limited to:

  • An interactive story arch bringing awareness to my personal brain health
  • An ongoing interactive brain art ecosystem
  • Ecosystem exclusive digital and physical art drops
  • More direct access to my future endeavors as an artist and creator
  • Opportunity to express yourself and collecting preferences through art
  • Access to my network of Coldie collectors and artist friends
  • Mint Your Intuition (priority minting)
  • Our Eyes
  • and more…

Why (my)ND?

My family has a obscure brain disorder called Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). My late grandfather and father both developed this disorder and it has greatly affected their later stages in life. Seeing this as a young(er) man and projecting the probability of this being a genetic hand-me-down, I took the proactive move of talking with my doctor about it. They agreed we need to get ahead of this and ordered at scan of my brain.

TLDR; my brain is healthy and considered normal (as normal as an artist’s brain can be) compared to what has affected my family members, but it seems like this condition happens later in life. As my life continues, will I find myself afflicted the same way I see in my family tree? What can I do to change the course of my brain’s health to get the most out of it.

Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) results from the gradual blockage of the CSF-draining pathways in the brain. The ventricles enlarge to handle the increased volume of CSF, thus compressing the brain from within and eventually damaging or destroying the brain tissue. NPH owes its name to the fact that the ventricles inside the brain become enlarged with little or no increase in pressure. However, the name can be misleading, as some patients' CSF pressure does fluctuate from high to normal to low when monitored.

NPH can occur as the result of head injury, cranial surgery, hemorrhage, meningitis or tumor. Unfortunately, the cause of the majority of NPH cases is unknown, making it difficult to diagnose and understand. Compounding this difficulty is the fact that some of the symptoms of NPH are similar to the effects of the aging process, as well as diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. The majority of the NPH population is older than 60, and many of these people believe their symptoms are just part of the aging process. Unfortunately, many cases go unrecognized, are never properly treated or are misdiagnosed.
